Bellingen takes the prize for the food and cafe scene - less than a 30 minute drive from Valla Beach. Nambucca Heads has a wonderful Pizza cocktail restaurant called Matilda’s. Our favourite cafe in Nambucca Heads is The Wharf Cafe.
Our favourite beaches
Valla Beach South is a great beach to either swim in the ocean or if you prefer calm water and need somewhere to take the kids - Deep Creek runs in from the ocean along the beach and bush. To get there: - Turn right off Valla Beach Road at the Beach House Cafe, past the tennis courts and down the dirt road to deep creek. There are also some other beaches within 15 to 45 mins drive from Valla Beach we recommend you check out if you have the time. Nambucca Heads, Scotts Head and South West Rocks.
